Although Dr. Tin Nguyen focused on math, science, and engineering, he found that Optometry allowed him to help others. With an engineering background, Dr. Tin approaches the medical sciences with more of a mathematical approach. His expert knowledge of optics allows him to understand and educate how the eyes work. In his spare time, Dr. Tin enjoys teaching, traveling, and building.

Born and raised in Vietnam, Dr. Trang Nguyen moved to Houston to further her education. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a degree in Biology. She then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where she received her Doctorate of Optometry in 2015. During her final year, she completed two prestigious clinical rotations at the Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas, TX and the Cherokee Nation Health Center in Oklahoma. Dr. Trang Nguyen’s extensive training emphasizes treatment and management of various ocular diseases such as: glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and pre/post cataract surgery management. As a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist, Dr. Nguyen truly believes in educating patients to ensure that every patient understands their ocular health. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and gardening.
